About Children’s Dentistry Castle Hill
Children’s Dentistry was founded in 1978 by Dr Lorna Mitchell. Dr Robyn Thomson and Dr Judith Fenton took over at the helm in 1988 and in 2018, Dr Lara Yates assumed the role of principal dentist. We are very proud to say that we have been caring for young and anxious patients and their families from the Hills District and greater Sydney for over 30 years.
Our dental procedures are focused on treating children without the requirement for general anaesthesia. We are passionate about making a visit to the dentist a positive experience for our young patients and Mum and Dad as well. The experience we have working with children allows us to use special techniques developed by Prof Graham Craig (AM, MSD. PhD, FRACDS), former Assoc. Prof Faculty of Dentistry, University of Sydney. These techniques are preventative and use minimal intervention, creating happy dental patients.
Our rooms are decorated with murals, creating a nurturing environment with a wonderful atmosphere for the children.
If you require a Castle Hill dentist, need any further information, or have any questions regarding the dental needs of your children or yourself (“Yes, we also treat Mum and Dad!”), please don’t hesitate to contact one of our friendly staff and make an appointment.
